CURRICULUM (YEARS 7 – 10)
Curriculum (Years 7 to 10)
Year 7 and 8 students follow a compulsory curriculum to satisfy the requirements of the Board of Studies, Teaching and Educational Standards NSW (BOSTES).
Stage 4 - Year 7 and 8
There are 4 groups: Murphy, Cheetham, Flynn and Quilty. Each student is allocated to a group. Each student will remain in their assigned house for the entire duration of their schooling.
The compulsory subjects include:
- English
- Geography
- History
- Languages – French (in Year 8)
- Mathematics
- Music
- Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE)
- Science
- Visual Arts
- Technology and Applied Studies
Stage 5 - Year 9 and 10
The compulsory subjects include:
- Australian History
- English
- Australian Geography
- Mathematics
- Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE)
- Science
Elective choices include:
- Drama
- Music
- Dance
- Visual Arts
